I was asked to photograph a lovely new coffee shop, Forge on the Green, before it opened its doors in August. This coffee shop is perfectly located within the picturesque village of Shamley Green, in Surrey. Anna Wilson Interiors pulled together lots of amazing details in the space, with bespoke furniture and light fittings, inviting wallpaper, and a cozy outside terrace. Not only does the space have a cool, friendly, inviting vibe, but the coffee is delicious, uniquely blended by Coco, and the food is pretty tasty too. And this place is also giving back, by setting up the Forging Futures Charity, which involves running the coffee shop as a social enterprise. Forging Futures’ vision is to provide training and personal development opportunities for local young people with additional needs and disabilities in a supported and nurturing environment. So, if you fancy a coffee or a bite to eat in a beautiful setting then you need to pop here, you won’t be disappointed.
